Just a pot holder you say. How boring! Well, this pot holder is anything but boring; it"s fancy and fun to make. =)

This is a class designed for the people that already have the basic sewing techniques.

This is a one day fun project. This class includes the quilt kit need to complete this project.

Laura Heine Collage CLASS. In this class, we will learn how to make one of the Laura Heine Collage Quilts. You can pick your pattern and everyone will be working on their own creation. This is a design and learning class, so you will not need your sewing machine. We will be working on the collage part of the pattern, but I will give ideas for finishing.

Marbling fabrics is the art of floating paints on top of a thick solution, called size, manipulating the paints into patterns, then transferring the pattern to an object by gently placing the object on top of the paints. You can make your own one-of-a-kind quilting fabric, or marble anything else

Sew a Jelly Roll onto a sweat shirt. Another fun class by Velma Butler from Council of aging.

We are going to make 1/2 square triangles and explore the various quilt designs that can be made from the 1/2 triangles

This is a group of folks that get together and sew using their feather weight sewing machine here at six mile quilting. This is an open club. You do not have to own a feather weight sewing machine. You are welcome to bring your sewing machine or any needle work to this meeting and enjoy the friendship and fellowship of like minded quilters.

Bring your BOM and sit and sew with us. Six Mile Quilting is not doing a BOM this year but would love to have you bring your BOM and work on it at the shop with your quilting buddies

We will do wheel chair, nursing home quilts for Sabine County. We use the acu-cutter for fast cutting. Not a Quilter, no problem, we need volunteers to help ironing, putting the blocks together, using the cutter. Anyone can do it. This is a great way to use your scraps and help others in need. We are going to have a pot luck on these days.

This club will meet the first Friday of every month. The month cost is $5.00 per month. This will consist of a pot lunch.
