Clubs inside the quilt store

This is a group of folks that get together and sew using their feather weight sewing machine here at six mile quilting. This is an open club. You do not have to own a feather weight sewing machine. You are welcome to bring your sewing machine or any needle work to this meeting and enjoy the friendship and fellowship of like minded quilters.

We will do wheel chair, nursing home quilts for Sabine County. We use the acu-cutter for fast cutting. Not a Quilter, no problem, we need volunteers to help ironing, putting the blocks together, using the cutter. Anyone can do it. This is a great way to use your scraps and help others in need. We are going to have a pot luck on these days.

This club will meet the first Friday of every month. The month cost is $5.00 per month. This will consist of a pot lunch.

Beginning Collage Class

Laura Heine Collage CLASS. In this class, we will learn how to make one of the Laura Heine Collage Quilts. You can pick your pattern and everyone will be working on their own creation. This is a design and learning class, so you will not need your sewing machine. We will be working on the collage part of the pattern, but I will give ideas for finishing.
