10-30-24: Christmas Tree Skirt "Quilt-as-You-Go" with June Tailor Batting
Basic Requirements:
1. Sewing Machine, in good working order ( please bring your manual)
2. Cutting supplies - Rotary Cutter, Cutting Mat, 24” long Ruler
3. Thread- 40wt or 50wt 100% cotton is recommended. Choose a coordinating color to fabrics for quilting.
4. Scissors - Small for snipping threads
5. Fabric Marker - one or more of blue water soluble, red or black heat erasable, fine point lead pencil, or chalk pencil.
6. Basting Spray and optional safety pins
Fabric Requirements:
4 different fabrics 1/2 yard each OR 8 different fabrics 1/4 yard each. If fabric is directional, it will require 1/2 yard of that fabric to make a proper cut
Backing fabric 1-1/4 yard
Binding fabric 5/8 yard
Batting and cutting template and directions are included with your class. You may pick it up early if you want to have your fabrics cut before class.
